Moved  from our anchorage at Elizabeth City up the Pasquotank River to the Dismal Swamp Canal Visitor Center.  We enjoy the Dismal Swamp canal route, although it is shallow and quite narrow.  It is peaceful, and less travelled.

Stopped for night at the Dismal Swamp Visitors Center.  You can see Charm at the dock to the right, with another boat tied up alongside.  This is called rafting, and is common at this location when it is busy.   Rafting is OK, but the outside boat has to walk across your boat to get on and off, so it can be a pain, unless the outside boat is nice and courteous, which the people rafted to us were.

Did a boat project of modifying our bosun chair, to be more comfortable.   Dean tested it out and gave it the okey dokey.

Took a nice walk on the Dismal Swamp Visitor center boardwalk,  did not see much wildlife, but a few bugs.

We saw a lot of turtles along the route as well

We spent the night at a free dock next to the Deep Creek Bridge and locks on the canal.  Met a nice young couple on an older Trawler, who are making a living doing travel blogs.  Had a nice dinner with them from the pizza restaurant nearby.   You can check out their you tube blog at https://www.youtube.com/c/schoandjo
